A therapeutic cushion shaped to fit your shoulders. Its central pocket runs up along the neck to help release tension in the shoulders and neck. Warm, it relaxes the muscles; cold, it soothes.
Filled with organic pearl barley, it is made entirely in Quebec by Amma Thérapie and comes in several fabrics and patterns.
Format: 15 1/2 x 7 x 1 1/2 in., 1 kg.
Materials: filled with organic pearl barley. The fabric depends on the pattern: 55% hemp and 45% organic cotton for the Sable pattern, 100% organic cotton for the plain grey. For other patterns, check the label.
How to use: for a warm treatment, place it on a paper towel and heat it in the microwave for about 1 minute to 1 minute 30 seconds, depending on the appliance's power, or place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a conventional oven preheated to 175 °F (about 80 °C) for 15 to 20 minutes at most; do not use a gas oven. Move the grains around to spread the heat and always test the cushion's temperature on the inside of your wrist before applying it. For a cold treatment, keep it in the freezer in an airtight plastic bag. Then place it on your shoulders. The cushion cannot be washed in water: if a stain appears, rub the surface with a damp cloth.
Storage: protect it from dust and set it down on a clean surface.
Precautions: never leave a child under 3 unattended with the cushion.
Origin: made in Quebec by Amma Thérapie, whose workshop-boutique is in Château-Richer, in the Capitale-Nationale region.
