Lavender eye pillow with washable cover

A small pillow to rest on closed eyelids, filled with organic pearl barley and a hint of dried lavender. Well suited to savasana pose, it promotes relaxation and helps you stay focused on your breathing; its soft lavender scent adds to the calming effect.
Use it at room temperature, warm or cold; its cover comes off for washing. Amma Thérapie makes it by hand in Quebec.
Format: 8 1/2 x 3 3/4 x 1/2 in., 175 g.
Materials: pillow filled with organic pearl barley and a hint of dried lavender. The removable cover is 100% cotton for the Mandala pattern; for other patterns, check the label.
How to use: for relaxation and meditation, use it at room temperature, resting on closed eyelids. For a warm treatment, place it on a paper towel and heat it in the microwave for about 20 to 30 seconds, depending on the appliance's power; move the grains around to spread the heat and test the temperature on the inside of your wrist before placing it over your eyes. For a cold treatment, keep it in the freezer in an airtight plastic bag. To wash the cover, remove it from the pillow, wash it in cold water and lay it flat to dry. The inner pillow cannot be washed in water.
Storage: keep it away from dust.
Precautions: do not keep the warm eye pillow on your eyes for more than 5 minutes in a row. Never leave a child under 3 unattended with the eye pillow.
Origin: handmade in Quebec by Amma Thérapie, whose workshop-boutique is in Château-Richer, in the Capitale-Nationale region.
