A fruity, woody infused oil made with blueberries and Labrador tea, a boreal forest plant with resinous notes of mint and eucalyptus.
Kabir Kouba Inspiration infuses it with dehydrated vegetables for an oil with a gentle northern sweetness that suits salads, cheeses and desserts alike. It is handmade in small batches in Wendake.
Format: 100 ml
Ingredients: canola oil, organic high-oleic sunflower oil, blueberries, Labrador tea (Rhododendron groenlandicum), dehydrated carrot, onion, red pepper, green pepper and garlic.
How to use: In a vinaigrette for fruit or vegetable salads, with fresh or aged cheeses and charcuterie, drizzled over panna cotta or ice cream, or as a bread dip.
Storage: away from light, at room temperature. Keeps for 18 months.
Precautions: Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, because of the Labrador tea.
Origin: handmade in Wendake, in the Capitale-Nationale region of Quebec.
