Entirely natural and plant-based, Appalachian truffle-flavoured oil wins you over with its finesse and versatility.
Les Truffettes start with organic cold-pressed sunflower oils from Quebec and add a natural flavour developed here from plant distillates to recreate the aroma of fresh Appalachian truffle. Its vegetal, rooty profile, with a hint of salsify and garlic, ends on a rounded finish. A 100% Quebec product.
The company, based in Saint-Denis-de-Brompton, in Estrie, grew out of Truffes Québec's passion for the world of truffles. Behind the brand are two enthusiasts, Maude and Sophie, who devoted more than three years of research to their first products, inspired by the Appalachian truffle, a truffle native to Quebec so rare that, for now, it is not even found on the market.
Format: 100 ml.
Ingredients: organic sunflower oil, natural flavour.
Serving suggestion: as a finishing oil on burrata, risotto, pasta, grilled vegetables, mac and cheese or salad. Avoid heating it to high temperatures to preserve the truffle flavour.
Storage: at room temperature, away from light.
Origin: a 100% Quebec product according to Les Truffettes, made with organic sunflower oils from Quebec and a natural flavour developed in Quebec.
