A duo to discover camelina in two forms: a cold-pressed roasted camelina oil and roasted camelina seeds, packed together in a ready-to-give gift box. The oil has a toasty taste reminiscent of hazelnut and peanut; the seeds add crunch and flavour to your dishes.
Signé Caméline grows its camelina and produces its oils and seeds on its farm in Saint-Édouard-de-Napierville, in Montérégie, from seed to bottle, as well as in collaboration with other farms.
Format: set of 2 products, in a gift box with a handle.
What's inside: one 250 ml bottle of cold-pressed roasted camelina oil and one 250 g container of roasted camelina seeds.
Ingredients: roasted camelina oil for the oil; roasted camelina seeds for the seeds.
Allergens: the oil and the seeds may contain traces of mustard.
Serving suggestion: use the oil in dressings, salads, marinades and stir-fries; it also handles high-heat cooking, up to 246 °C (475 °F). Sprinkle the seeds on soups, salads, grilled vegetables or seafood, or add them to a smoothie, yogurt or baked goods.
Storage: at room temperature, away from light; neither the oil nor the seeds need to be refrigerated. The oil keeps for up to two years on the shelf and six months after opening.
Origin: grown and produced in Quebec, on the family farm in Saint-Édouard-de-Napierville, in Montérégie, as well as in collaboration with other farms.
