A fresh, invigorating candle: lime and grapefruit on top, basil and eucalyptus at the heart, oak moss at the base.
Oli & Eve, a small Quebec company specializing in candle making, hand-pours it in small batches in Montréal, using 100% natural soy wax. The 3 oz size has a wooden wick that crackles as it burns; the 8 oz size has a cotton wick.
Format: 3 oz (about 10 to 15 hours of burn time) or 8 oz (about 45 to 50 hours).
Materials: 100% natural soy wax, phthalate-free fragrances, crackling wooden wick (3 oz) or cotton wick (8 oz), reusable glass container.
How to use: the first time, let the wax melt evenly across the whole surface, about 2 hours, to prevent tunnelling.
Care: before each use, trim the wick to less than 1/4 in. (about 6 mm). With the wooden wick of the 3 oz size, it is normal for the flame height to vary. Once the candle is finished, reuse the container.
Precautions: avoid leaving the candle lit for more than 4 hours in a row.
Origin: hand-poured in Montréal.
