A fruity candle that recalls warm, sunny summer days. Red rhubarb and kiwi open the scent, blackberry forms its heart, then cashmere wood, which adds a creamy touch, and amber form the base.
Oli & Eve, a small Quebec company specializing in candle making, hand-pours it in small batches in Montréal, using a natural wax with no paraffin or additives.
Format: 3 oz (about 10 to 15 hours of burn time) or 8 oz (about 45 to 50 hours).
Materials: 100% natural soy wax, or soy and coconut wax, with no paraffin or additives; phthalate-free fragrances; crackling FSC-certified wooden wick for the 3 oz size, cotton wick for the 8 oz size. Contents may vary by batch; refer to the label on the product you receive.
How to use: the first time, let the wax melt evenly across the whole surface, about 2 hours, to prevent tunnelling.
Care: before each use, trim the wick to less than 1/4 in. (about 6 mm). With the wooden wick, it is normal for the flame height to vary, like a small campfire. Once the candle is finished, the container can be reused.
Precautions: avoid leaving the candle lit for more than 4 hours in a row.
Origin: hand-poured in Montréal.
