Eight assorted chocolate bites, gathered in an 85 g box. Couleur Chocolat's range of bites has 24 flavours, and this box offers an assortment of eight.
Carl Pelletier, an artisan chocolatier, founded Couleur Chocolat in 2008 in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, in Gaspésie, where his team makes the bites by hand. Their ingredient list gives an idea of the variety: passion fruit, raspberry, chestnut paste, candied ginger, coffee, spices and even kombu seaweed.
Format: box of 8 pieces, 85 g.
Ingredients: sugars [sugar, invert sugar, glucose, maple sugar, dextrose, fruit purées (passion fruit, raspberry, lemon), honey, chestnut paste (chestnuts, sugar, glucose syrup, vanilla flavour)], sorbitol, unsweetened chocolate, cream, cocoa butter, butter, milk powder, hazelnuts, almonds, cocoa beans, butter oil, glycerol, candied ginger, raisins, soy and/or sunflower and/or canola lecithin, spirits 0.37% (marc de champagne, raspberry and plum brandy), ground coffee, salt, spices (coriander, celery seed, Hungarian pepper, ginger), kombu seaweed, natural vanilla flavour, lemon zest, colour.
Allergens: contains hazelnuts, almonds, milk and soy. Contains spirits. According to the maker, all its products may contain traces of tree nuts.
Serving suggestion: enjoy the bites one at a time, at room temperature.
Storage: in a cool, dry place, between 12 and 20 °C, ideally in a cellar or a cool room away from sunlight. The expiry date is usually on the bottom of the box.
Origin: bites handmade in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, in Gaspésie, from chocolate that comes from France (Cacao Barry and Valrhona).
