Three small jars for breakfast: a blueberry and lavender jam with soft floral notes, a strawberry and rhubarb jam with the classic balance of tart and sweet, and an orange and Cointreau marmalade with citrus notes and a slightly bitter finish.
Miss Marmelades, based in Gatineau, in the Outaouais region, makes them with natural ingredients and no preservatives or artificial additives. The organic lavender is hand-picked in its garden, then slowly cooked with Quebec blueberries. The strawberries come from Quebec and the rhubarb from its gardens. The marmalade is flavoured with Cointreau, an orange liqueur.
Format: 3 jars, 41 ml each.
What's inside:
- Blueberry and lavender jam.
- Strawberry and rhubarb jam.
- Orange and Cointreau marmalade. The third jar may instead be a raspberry and lemon jam: contents may vary by batch; rely on the label of the product you receive.
Serving suggestion: spread on fresh bread or toast, a croissant, a brioche, crêpes or scones. The blueberry and lavender jam also works in tarts, cookies or yogurt.
Storage: no preservatives; refrigerate after opening.
Origin: made by Miss Marmelades, a company based in Gatineau, in the Outaouais region.
