It looks just like a real salami, but it is made entirely of chocolate. This dark chocolate salami is filled with puffed rice, dried fruit and nuts, and slices into rounds just like the original.
Intensely chocolatey, it reveals a fruity touch from the cranberries and apricots.
Juliette Brun was 22 in 2003 when she opened what she describes as Quebec's first chocolate bar. Juliette et Chocolat makes this salami artisanally at its workshop in Greenfield Park, in Longueuil.
Format: 200 g salami, wrapped in a net.
Allergens: contains tree nuts (almonds), milk, soy, gluten and sulphites. May contain wheat, peanuts and other tree nuts.
Serving suggestion: slice into rounds and serve for dessert, as a snack or on a sharing board.
Storage: following the maker's advice for chocolate, in a dry place away from light and strong odours, at a stable temperature between 15 and 20 °C rather than in the refrigerator.
Origin: handcrafted at Juliette et Chocolat's workshop in Greenfield Park (Longueuil), in Montérégie, from chocolates of various origins (Belgium, Peru, Africa).
