A concentrated elderberry syrup, with no added sugar and no alcohol, that pairs Canadian elderberry concentrate with elderflower, peppermint and thyme. A natural health product licensed by Health Canada (NPN 80093603), it helps relieve cold and flu symptoms, such as cough, sore throat and airway inflammation.
Fruitomed makes this syrup with a 100% natural formula in Quebec; take it at the first symptoms.
Format: 120 ml bottle, concentrated formula; the label indicates 24 days of use.
Ingredients: elderberry concentrate (Sambucus canadensis, fruit), elderflower (Sambucus nigra), peppermint (leaf) and thyme (leaf). Per 5 ml serving: elderberry 15,000 mg, elderflower 15 mg, peppermint 15 mg, thyme 2.5 mg. No added sugar and no alcohol.
Serving suggestion: shake well before use and take preferably on an empty stomach, with the cup provided. Adults: 5 ml (1 tsp) once or twice a day. Children 10 to 18: 5 ml once a day. Children 5 to 9: 2.5 ml (1/2 tsp) once a day. Children 2 to 4: 1.25 ml (1/4 tsp) once a day.
Storage: at room temperature, away from heat and light. Refrigerate after opening and use within 30 days.
Origin: made in Quebec by Fruitomed, a company based in Chaudière-Appalaches.
Precautions: consult a health care practitioner before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have gallstones. Stop use if hypersensitivity, such as an allergy, occurs. If symptoms persist or worsen, see a doctor.
